What has happened to the greatness of Japanese culture and society since the Meiji Era? Or lately have you forgotten yourself to provoke the anger of an entire world. Especially those who have been hurt by the Japanese Imperial Army past sins!
What’s your plan, to start World War III? Forgetting what an entire world went through over 70 years before and the cost of 100 million lives, half of those living in East-Asian countries. Does your plan include for Japan rise up again and force those to do your will by the ‘barrel of a gun’. Please explain it to me. I would like to know your true motives! Is this a cultured society? The way of the Samurai never intended for this abomination to happen!
The great people of Japan have been suffering a ‘mental amnesia’ and it’s because of politicians like you! Haven’t people gone through enough because of the Japanese barbarity or are you just a charlatan poignantly seeking reelection and votes?
Controversy has been your M.O. (Modus Operandi) as a politician, please stop! You make it bad for those of us that want peace in our lifetime and not become engulfed in wars for land grabbing! Until you don’t promote peace, you’ll see a society disintegrate and forget its own past. You are certainly condemning your country to repeat past mistakes. When enough is enough? Learn to take action for your past mistakes.
If not, you’re provoking blind ignorance amongst your own. Are you proud to look ignorant? You sure must! What you are trying to do is set Japan on a course of fascism and vengeance, instead of forgiveness. When will you learn this simple lesson?
Ancientness is your symbolism of greatness; however, you are showing [in truth] your true colors of stupidity! What happened to your great country? The one with philosophers like Miyamoto Musashi and Morehei Ueshiba, did you forget what did they stand for? I recall after years of bloodshed, it was for peace!
I hold no prejudice against my fellow man. Do you hate the Chinese so badly or the U.S. Marines that entered your country to continue this ‘eternal’ conflict that sets Japan back 70 years. Again and I overly repeat, when will you learn from past lessons?
I would say, or maybe I would suggest for you to read books like, “Rape of Nanking” by Iris Chang or “Sandakan” by Paul Ham. Maybe you haven’t read them. It shows what your country perpetrated from 1931 to 1945 or again, I over emphasize, have you forgotten?
It shows, since politically you do not have the touch for diplomacy. Which I believe most politicians should have! However, after all your offensive efforts, would you please make things right, please!
Come to China, do a tour and visit the Nanjing Massacre Memorial. After all, you did visit the controversial shrine back in your country. Now you can come to China and see first hand what the Japanese Imperial Army did in 1937.
It wouldn’t be to ‘lose face’, if you’re afraid of this, but it would be to gain character. People would admire and respect you more, because it would be an effort to change and possibly place yourself on the ‘road to peace’.
I’m a former military man myself and as an American and in war atrocities are committed and I have to say, “Is it correct to kill millions of innocent civilians?” There is no justification for such actions.
I still believe deep in my heart that the Japanese culture is one of greatness in quality and furthermore, in people! It must have been your own prejudicial education and possibly upbringing whom taught you to hate everything non-Japanese.
Therefore, I extend friendship and forgiveness to you. And if you ever want me to teach you true-world hospitality; I hope we can sit down someday for a cup of tea. Best wishes.
