Thirty-one major infrastructure projects have been completed and another 54 are still under construction, the Hangzhou Construction Commission said yesterday.
The city’s expressways will total 182.23 kilometers in June when 16 road projects are finished. Five of them are already put into service. They include the third and fourth phases of Qiushi Expressway, the first phase of Donghu Road, the underpass of Huancheng Road N. and Wenhui Road Interchange.
The commission is overseeing 85 infrastructure projects scheduled for completion before the 2016 G20 Summit in Hangzhou in early September.
Citywide, 605 construction projects will be finished in the next three months, including Zizhi Tunnel, Donghu Expressway, Shixiang Expressway, Airport Highway and the dredging of 32 downtown rivers.
