Air pollution levels are set to fall today after the city reported heavy smog yesterday. The forecasters downgraded the warning level to “lightly polluted.”
The city’s AQI reached 138 micrograms per cubic meter at 10am this morning and dropped to 78 micrograms around 2pm, changing from lightly polluted air to good air.
Another cold front will arrive in the middle of this week and will help disperse the smog, the forecasters said.
This week will be dry with temperatures ranging from 2 degrees to 13 degrees Celsius.
