Showers are likely today through Friday as a warm humid air mass is invading from southwest, the Hangzhou Meteorological Bureau said.
Temperatures will stay in the range of 15 degrees to 28 degrees Celsius this week. Today’s weather is cloudy and overcast with sporadic showers. The high is 23 degrees and the low is 16 degrees.
More rains are expected tomorrow to Thursday as the mercury hovers between 17-28 degrees. The rain will diminish on Friday and the weekend will be cloudy, the bureau said.
Yesterday was “Lixia,” one of the 24 solar terms on the Chinese calendar that marks the start of summer. However, the bureau said summer will not arrive officially until the end of this month or early June with average temperature over 22 degrees for five consecutive days.
